Pella Professional site - Sticky Header
About This Project
One of the updates the Pella Professional team wanted to make to the website was the inclusion of a sticky header to match the interaction found on the Pella.com site.
Considerations for this project included:
- Which links from global navigation would stay in the sticky header
- Whether the logo would stay, and if so, would it change visually as it does in the Pella.com sticky header
- Branding: should the Pella Pro sticky header visually match the Pella.com sticky header, and if not, in what ways should it differentiate itself?
My Contribution
I determined which global links would live in the sticky header, as well as the visual design, which included:
- Spacing
- Color scheme
- shadowing and transparency
- Size of links and the header overall in relation to page content
